Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the room I stayed in was much nicer and more comfortable than expected, it was a little basic and stayed hot and stuffy despite having a fan and open ceiling. However, the lack of natural light and the dingy, windowless, and smelly aspects were noticeable drawbacks. The service provided was satisfactory with no specific issues noted. The location of the hotel was excellent, offering ample opportunities to explore in different directions and relax by the lake. The dining experience was amazing, considering Guatemalan standards, and the spare ribs were delicious. Despite these positives, the dark, dingy room and the stuffy environment were significant downsides.
The hotel offers incredibly spacious rooms with fabulous air flow but lacking in privacy due to the open design and questionable cleanliness. The staff can be rude and neglectful, but if you enjoy a rustic vibe, this might be right up your alley.
Staying at this hotel was like being in a raised tree house directly on top of the lake, offering a unique and comfortable experience. The rooms were nice and comfortable, although lacking TV and internet. The location, with the lovely surroundings and access to the lake, was a great way to relax. The dining experience was amazing. However, the noise from the road over the bridge could be a downside.
